Retreat Center Rooms
Stay in our beautiful Retreat Center! Linens are provided for your convenience. Plan a day of activities on site and schedule meals in our dining room. Or take a trip into Estes Park or Lyons for the day.
This 24-bedroom, 104-bed retreat center offers family-friendly accommodations for our guests. The center, as well as the attached dining/meeting facility, is fully accessible.
Each room comfortably accommodates guests primarily in full-length twin beds, with some queen-sized Murphy beds available. Rooms can be arranged for couples, if desired. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, with the sinks and mirrors, shower, and toilet areas all separate.
There are no phones or televisions in the rooms and no cell service at Highlands; however, there is a courtesy phone in the lobby and free, limited, wireless internet access available throughout the Retreat Center.
Pets are not allowed on site due to multiple group use of our facility and wildlife habitats.
Family Style Cabins
Reserve a spacious and rustic cabin that is perfect for a family getaway. While residing comfortably, your group will have picturesque views of Mount Meeker and the valley below. With a large common area and a full kitchen, it's the perfect place for a memorable family or small group retreat.
Whether you choose to stay in Paintbrush or Horse Lodge, you know you're in the right spot. Each cabin has a large, open, living/dining room area with a fireplace. Firewood is free & easily available from the host. It is a great place to gather your entire group to dine, play games or sit by the fireplace and read a book.
There are two bathrooms in each cabin with showers. Multiple bedrooms, with varying bed options, give you a variety of ways to divide out your group.
Group Cabins
While most of our cabins serve our summer camp program during the middle of the summer, they are available for rental throughout the year. Collectively, our cabins can hold 134 in comfort during the winter and can accommodate up to 203 during the summer. Accommodations provide bunk beds, attached modern bathrooms, and heat. Guests using cabin facilities will need to provide their own bedding, towels, and personal toiletries.
Cabin facilities are ideal for retreats such as youth groups, children’s groups, young adults, college retreats, and other gatherings of budget-conscious groups. For the safety of our other guests and to preserve our wildlife habitat, please leave pets at home under the care of friends or neighbors.
