Highlands is a Beautiful Retreat Center for Conferences, Retreats, Reunions and Other Special Events Located in Allenspark, Colorado
Located at the foot of Mt. Meeker, Highlands Camp & Retreat Center offers 285 acres of natural experiences, including streams, ridges, meadows, rock outcroppings, and pine forests, all with sunrise and sunset views. Just a 90-minute drive from the Denver Airport and 60 minutes from Boulder, Colorado.
At Highlands, we offer comfortable hotel-style lodging options, along with year-round cabins and summer cabins!
Off-Season (September-May)
- We can provide lodging & meal service from groups as small as 15 people and as large as 220 people.
Summer (June-August)
- We can host up to 327 guests.
- Our overnight capacity is 164.
- Day Use Capacity is 220 (indoors) and 500 (outdoors).
We have excellent meal service and large and small indoor and outdoor meeting and gathering areas.
- Our maximum capacity for meal service is 264.

Lodging
Our Retreat Center has 24 bedrooms with a total of 104 beds. Year-round cabins have a total of 124 beds. Summer cabins have a total of 80 beds. Tent camping and RV parking available. We’re happy to help you choose the lodging options that work best for your group.
Meeting & Gathering Areas
We have 3 generously sized meeting spaces in the Conference Center. Each meeting room has a cathedral ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows that admit magnificent mountain views, access to the spacious deck. and a large gas-lit fireplace. We also have 3 amphitheaters for the meetings you’d like to hold in the embrace of nature.
Dining & Meal Service
Delicious meals are prepared and served daily. Iced tea, lemonade, hot tea and hot coffee are always available. Meals are served cafeteria-style, and guests are encouraged to dine in their reserved conference room or in conference rooms that are not reserved by another group.
Recreation
At Highlands Camp & Retreat Center, 293 acres beckon guests to enjoy the wonders of nature. Explore streams, ridges, meadows, rock outcroppings, and pine forests, all with sunrise and sunset views. Activities include Hiking, Canoeing, Paddleboarding, and a Low Challenge Course.
